QLM Acceptable Use Policy
Effective date: 5 October 2026
Version: 1.0
With QLM, we aim to give you broad scope to create, learn, work, and benefit from artificial intelligence, while setting clear boundaries where use could cause harm, infringe the rights of others, or put people, systems, or data at risk.
This Acceptable Use Policy therefore applies to QLM and the other products, features, functions, and services that we make available to individuals and organizations from time to time. These include, without limitation, AI agents; applications, software, browser extensions, and websites; connected-account features, communications, and automation; and local, remote, and hosted computing environments. This Policy also covers all users of the service; all content, conversations, instructions, outputs, files and documents, memory and knowledge, projects and workspaces, actions, automation, applications, and other activities carried out through or using the service; and any other function or feature we make available through QLM. This Policy addresses you as a QLM customer or user. By using and/or accessing the service, you are responsible for complying with the rules applicable to your use.
This Policy applies whether you use QLM directly, through an organization or workspace, or through an Agent, Automation, or Integration that you have configured or operated. Unless the context requires otherwise, terms used in this Policy have the meanings given to them in the QLM Terms of Use.
By accepting this Policy, you acknowledge that any use prohibited under Qriib's General Acceptable Use Policy remains prohibited when using QLM, even if it is not repeated here. The fact that an activity is technically possible within QLM does not mean that it is permitted if it violates the law, our terms or policies, or the rights of others.
Principles of Responsible Use
When using QLM, you undertake, on your own behalf and on behalf of anyone you allow to access or use our services through you, to:
use the service for lawful and legitimate purposes;
respect the safety, rights, and privacy of others;
use only data, accounts, systems, and tools that you are entitled to use;
grant agents and automation only the permissions necessary for the intended purpose;
review outputs before relying on them in important matters;
provide appropriate human oversight when using AI in contexts that could have a significant impact; and
comply with any legal or professional requirements applicable to your activities.
The laws and the professional and ethical obligations applicable to you remain in force. This Policy does not replace them.
Prohibited Uses and Activities
By accepting this Policy, you undertake not to use QLM, whether directly or through an Agent, Automation, Tool, or any connected service, account, or system, to carry out or facilitate any activity prohibited by law, the QLM Terms of Use, the General Acceptable Use Policy, or any other applicable Qriib policy.
The prohibitions in this section apply to your use of inputs, outputs, files, images, audio, video, code, agents, automation, connected services, device or browser tools, communications, transactions, and any other function we make available through QLM. In particular, and without limitation, you must not use QLM for any of the following purposes or activities.
A. Unlawful Activities and Harm to Others
These include, without limitation:
- committing a crime, or assisting, planning, or facilitating its commission;
causing serious physical or psychological harm to an individual or group;
exploiting children or minors, or exposing them to exploitation or abuse;
creating or distributing content prohibited by law or Qriib policies;
engaging in extortion, theft, or unlawful exploitation;
facilitating human trafficking, torture, or forced labor; or
enabling another person to carry out any act prohibited under this Policy.
B. Violence, Terrorism, and Self-Harm
You must not use QLM to:
directly incite violence against an individual or group;
threaten an individual or group with serious violence;
plan a serious assault or provide practical assistance intended to carry it out;
support terrorism, recruit for it, finance it, or prepare or disseminate propaganda intended to support it;
glorify serious acts of violence or their perpetrators with the intention of encouraging others to commit such acts;
directly encourage a person to commit suicide or harm themselves;
provide practical assistance intended to enable serious self-harm; or
exploit a person's psychological or emotional vulnerability with the intention of harming them.
This does not prevent discussion of these topics for legitimate purposes, such as research, education, journalism, history, prevention, awareness, or the provision of safe support, provided that the use does not become practical assistance in causing harm.
C. Sexual Content and Exploitation
In addition to the restrictions in Qriib's General Acceptable Use Policy, you must not use QLM's AI capabilities for purposes including, without limitation:
creating, modifying, enhancing, or publishing prohibited pornographic or sexually explicit content;
creating synthetic nude depictions of a real person;
incorporating a person's face, image, or voice into sexual content;
creating or publishing intimate content depicting a person without the legally required consent from that person;
creating or publishing non-consensual intimate content;
creating content depicting sexual violence or sexual extortion;
using synthetic images, voices, or media with the intention of sexually exploiting others; or
using AI to facilitate sexual exploitation, sexual extortion, or sex trafficking.
Content does not become permissible merely because the person concerned is an adult, the use is private, or the content has been created or modified wholly or partly using AI.
D. Violations of Privacy and Personal Data Rights
You must not use QLM to violate the privacy of others or their rights in relation to their data or identity, including by:
accessing personal or confidential data without authorization or an appropriate legal basis;
publishing or disclosing private or sensitive data without a legal basis;
unlawfully tracking or monitoring a person;
extracting another person's passwords, keys, access tokens, or credentials;
collecting data from accounts, devices, or systems that you are not entitled to access;
extracting or compiling other people's personal data without authorization; or
using QLM for surveillance, spying, or gathering information about people in violation of the law or their rights.
If you enter personal or sensitive data relating to other people into QLM, you undertake that you have the right and an appropriate legal basis to use and process that data. The QLM Privacy Policy explains how we process personal data when you use the service.
E. Misuse of Biometric Data
You must not use QLM to:
create facial recognition databases through large-scale or untargeted collection of people's images without an appropriate legal basis;
carry out real-time biometric identification of people in public spaces where this is prohibited by law;
use biometric data to infer a person's racial origin, political opinions, religious or philosophical beliefs, trade union membership, sex life, or sexual orientation in violation of the law;
assess or socially classify people on the basis of their behavior or personal characteristics in a way that leads to harmful, unfair, or disproportionate treatment; or
use profiling alone to predict the likelihood that a person will commit a crime where this is legally prohibited or unjustified.
You must also not create or operate a social scoring system that harms people or subjects them to disproportionate treatment on the basis of their behavior or personal characteristics.
F. Fraud, Deception, and Impersonation
You must not use QLM to carry out or facilitate:
fraud or scams;
phishing;
identity theft;
unlawful impersonation of a person or organization;
forgery of documents, certificates, or evidence for fraudulent use;
creation of fake reviews or ratings with the intention of misleading others;
creation of fraudulent or misleading messages or content; or
use of synthetic information or media to mislead others into accepting a false identity or an untrue account of events in a way that causes substantial harm.
You must not use a real person's image, voice, likeness, or characteristics to create content that misleads others into believing that the person said or did something they did not say or do, where the purpose is fraud, harmful deception, or impersonation.
This does not prohibit satire, creative or fictional works, criticism, or lawful imitation where the context is clear and the purpose is not fraud, harm, or unlawful deception.
G. Manipulation and Exploitation
You must not use QLM to apply covert, manipulative, or deceptive techniques that impair a person's ability to make an informed decision in a way that could cause substantial harm. You must not exploit a person because of their age, disability, psychological or emotional condition, social or economic circumstances, or any other vulnerability, with the aim of harmfully or unlawfully influencing their behavior or decisions.
H. Cybersecurity and Unauthorized Access
You must not use QLM for purposes including, without limitation:
accessing a system, account, network, device, or application without authorization;
exceeding the access permissions granted to you;
stealing passwords, keys, access tokens, or credentials;
distributing or developing malware with the intention of causing harm or compromising security;
extracting other people's data without authorization;
spying on accounts, systems, or devices;
disrupting or obstructing the operation of a system, network, or service;
carrying out attacks intended to deny users access to a service;
damaging, encrypting, modifying, or deleting other people's data without authorization;
stealing trade secrets or confidential data; or
carrying out malicious or abusive cyber activity.
You may use QLM for programming, technical education, defensive cybersecurity, and security testing that you are validly authorized to conduct, provided that you remain within the scope of that authorization and do not harm systems, data, or people outside its scope.
I. Circumventing Safety Systems or Operational Controls
You must not bypass, disable, deceive, or circumvent:
safety systems;
security protection and monitoring systems;
authentication mechanisms;
access controls;
usage limits;
request rates or limits;
Qredits or systems for billing or tracking usage;
approval or confirmation processes;
permissions granted to agents or connected services; or
human review mechanisms or restrictions on carrying out a particular action.
This includes using Prompt Injection, or malicious files, pages, instructions, code, or tools, to cause an Agent or connected system to disregard its instructions or assigned permissions, disclose data or secrets without authorization, exercise permissions it has not been granted, or carry out an action that the account or system owner has not authorized.
J. Communications, Messaging, and Marketing
If you use QLM to send a message, email, communication, or post, you must not use the service to:
send unsolicited automated or bulk messages or communications;
conduct spam campaigns;
carry out marketing in violation of consent or unsubscribe rules or any applicable legal requirements;
contact a person or entity in a manner that involves harassment or threats;
send fraudulent or misleading messages; or
impersonate another sender.
By accepting this Policy, you undertake that you have the appropriate right and authority to send the communications that you ask QLM or one of its agents to carry out.
K. Recording, Transcription, and Processing Other People's Communications
If you use QLM to record, transcribe, or analyze a meeting, call, audio, video, screen, or any communication involving other people, you must have the necessary legal right or authority to do so.
You are responsible for giving participants any required notice, obtaining the necessary consents, and complying with any legal requirements relating to the recording or processing of the communication.
You must not use QLM to make covert recordings, conduct unlawful surveillance, or process audio or visual content that you have obtained unlawfully.
L. Transactions, Purchases, and Financial Actions
If you use an Agent or Automation to make a purchase, carry out a transaction, or take an action with financial consequences involving a third party, you must not:
use an account or payment method that you are not entitled to use;
carry out a transaction without authorization from the owner of the account or payment method;
exceed the spending or approval limits set for the task;
circumvent confirmation or authentication processes;
use the agent to commit financial fraud; or
direct the agent to conceal or alter material information about the transaction.
You undertake that you have the necessary authority to carry out the transaction, that you are authorized to use the account and payment method, and that you review the transaction details before approving it whenever review is available or required.
M. Infringing the Rights of Others
You must not use QLM in a way that infringes:
intellectual property rights;
copyright;
trademarks;
trade secrets;
privacy rights;
rights relating to a person's image, voice, or identity; or
any other legal rights of third parties.
You must not use QLM to publish other people's private data, defame them, harass them, or stalk them.
N. Misuse of the QLM Application
You must not use QLM in a manner intended to abuse the service or its systems. This includes:
selling, renting out, or providing unauthorized access to an account or the service;
creating fake accounts to exploit offers, Qredits, or referral programs;
using multiple accounts to circumvent usage limits or restrictions;
evading a previous suspension, restriction, or ban through another account;
using automated means to extract service data without authorization;
attempting to extract or reconstruct our models or internal systems beyond your contractual rights;
reverse engineering or attempting to access components that are not available to you in violation of the QLM Terms of Use;
exploiting a vulnerability or technical defect to obtain services, resources, or Qredits to which you are not entitled;
placing an abnormal or deliberate load on the service or its infrastructure;
disrupting QLM's operation or interfering with other people's use of the service; or
using external tools, accounts, or systems to circumvent the restrictions we apply to the use of QLM.
This does not prevent your lawful use of outputs or your development of software or products based on them, within the rights granted to you under the QLM Terms of Use.
O. Evading This Policy or Enabling Others to Breach It
By accepting this Policy, you undertake not to attempt to achieve a prohibited outcome indirectly.
This includes, for example:
dividing a prohibited request into several apparently independent requests;
using multiple models or Agents to achieve the same outcome;
using an external tool or provider to carry out the prohibited part of a task;
using multiple accounts or another person's account;
concealing the true purpose of a request;
rephrasing instructions to bypass safety systems; or
designing a Workflow, Skill, MCP, or Agent whose actual function is to enable a prohibited activity.
You must also not assist another person, or provide them with a tool, service, or instructions, for the purpose of enabling them to breach this Policy. Any use prohibited under this Policy remains prohibited whether you carry it out directly or it is carried out on your behalf by an Agent, Automation, Tool, or connected service.
Protecting Children and Minors
Children's eligibility to use QLM is governed by the QLM Terms of Use, including the provisions relating to a parent or guardian, school, educational institution, or responsible entity.
Regardless of the minimum age for using the service, the child protection rules in this section apply to anyone under eighteen (18) years of age in relation to sexual exploitation, immoral content, grooming, or other forms of abuse.
You must not use QLM to: create, request, modify, or circulate child sexual exploitation or abuse material; create sexual content involving a minor or a person who appears to be a minor; groom a minor for sexual or exploitative purposes; engage in sexual extortion, trafficking, or exploitation; create sexual roleplay involving minors; provide guidance that helps conceal abuse or avoid its detection; or deliberately expose a minor to sexual, violent, or harmful content that is inappropriate for their age.
This also applies to fictional, synthetic, AI-generated, or AI-modified content. It does not prevent legitimate medical, educational, or preventive uses connected with protecting children, provided that the use is proportionate to its purpose, does not involve exploitation or the unlawful recirculation of abuse material, and does not involve providing medical advice.
Agents, Automation, and Connected Accounts and Devices
When using an Agent, Automation, or Connected Service, you undertake not to direct QLM to carry out an action that you yourself have no right or authority to perform. You must not use these functions to:
access an account, device, or service without authorization;
read, modify, or delete data that you are not authorized to handle;
send information or content on someone's behalf without appropriate authorization;
run commands on a device or system that you are not entitled to use;
publish public content without the required authority; or
exceed the limits set by the account or system owner.
If QLM gives you access to a device, browser, files, computing environment, command line, or software tool, you undertake to:
ensure that you are entitled to use the connected environment;
grant only the scope of permissions necessary;
review consequential actions before they are carried out, where appropriate; and
keep appropriate copies of important files or data before making substantial changes.
The fact that an Agent technically has permission to perform a particular action does not mean that you have automatically authorized it to act beyond the scope of your instructions.
High-Risk Uses
You may use QLM to assist with research, analysis, and the preparation of content and recommendations in various professional fields. However, some uses require additional safeguards because of their potential impact on people. Depending on the context, high-risk uses include: medicine, healthcare, and mental health; law; financial services, investment, and credit; insurance; recruitment and human resources; housing; education, admissions, and assessment; essential government services; law enforcement; safety and critical systems or infrastructure; and any field in which a consequential decision may affect a person's rights, eligibility, health, safety, or financial or legal position.
When using QLM in these fields, you must not rely on it as the sole basis for a final, high-impact decision about a person. You also undertake to provide meaningful human review proportionate to the risk of the decision. A qualified professional must carry out the review where the nature of the activity or the law requires this.
If you use QLM outputs to provide a licensed professional service to others, you remain solely responsible for verifying their accuracy and suitability and for complying with the professional obligations applicable to you. You must not present QLM as a doctor, lawyer, financial adviser, or licensed professional where the service is not actually being provided through a professional qualified in accordance with the law.
Legitimate Uses for Research and Education
Subject to the context of the request and the level of detail involved, you may use QLM for legitimate purposes including: education, scientific research, journalism, history, criticism and analysis, awareness and prevention, risk analysis, documenting violations, defensive cybersecurity, authorized security testing, or studying harmful content in order to understand or prevent it.
A legitimate use must not become practical assistance that materially enables the harm this Policy is intended to prevent.
Responsibilities of Organizations and Developers
If you use QLM through an organization or integrate it into an application, product, or service used by others, you undertake to put in place reasonable controls proportionate to the nature of the use and the associated risks. Depending on the circumstances, this may include:
managing permissions;
determining who can access tools or data;
applying human review to high-impact actions;
disclosing the use of AI to end users;
preventing users from using the application as a route to prohibited uses;
providing ways to report misuse; and
reviewing the Agents, Skills, or Integrations that you make available to your users.
This obligation does not transfer our responsibilities to you or release us from any obligation imposed on us by law or our policies.
Review and Monitoring
We may use appropriate technical, automated, and human methods to detect misuse of the service, investigate reports, and enforce this Policy, in accordance with the QLM Privacy Policy and our other applicable policies. This does not mean that we manually monitor all QLM conversations or uses.
If we identify or suspect a breach, we may take action proportionate to: the nature of the breach, its severity, the likelihood of harm, whether it has occurred repeatedly, and the context of the use. Actions may include: refusing to carry out a request; blocking or restricting an output; requesting additional confirmation or approval; preventing an Agent from taking a particular action; restricting a model, tool, or function; removing or restricting a published resource; issuing a notice or warning; temporarily suspending access; or terminating access in serious or repeated cases in accordance with the QLM Terms of Use and the Master Subscription Agreement.
We may take urgent action without prior notice where reasonably necessary to protect a child, prevent an imminent risk, address fraud or a security breach, or comply with a legal obligation.
If we make a mechanism available for you to appeal an action taken, you may use it to request reconsideration of the decision. During the review, we may take into account the nature and context of the use, the severity of the harm, repeated breaches, and any additional information you provide. Submitting an appeal does not guarantee that the action will be reversed.
Reporting and Contact
If you believe that a use of QLM, an Agent, Skill, MCP, content, or a published resource breaches this Policy, you may report it through Qriib's official support or reporting channels. We may ask you for additional information to the extent necessary to understand and investigate the report. You must not use the reporting system maliciously or submit reports that you know are false.
Because AI technologies and the ways they are used continue to evolve, we may update this Policy when:
we add new functions or tools to QLM;
new forms of misuse emerge;
the risks associated with AI technologies change;
laws or regulatory requirements change; or
we need to improve our safety rules or make the Policy clearer.
The current version of the Policy will be published with its last updated date or effective date. We will provide any additional notice required by law or the QLM Terms of Use.
For any questions about this Policy, you can contact us through Qriib's official support channels or by email at support@qriib.com. You can also visit the Qriib Trust Center at https://qriib.com/en/home to review the QLM Terms of Use, privacy, security, and acceptable use policies, and other applicable documents.
